![]() The huge smile on my face expresses my joy in spending my morning with the legendary illustrator Ed Sorel! ![]() Jumping for joy at the Jersey Shore, teaching in the Marywood University Get Your Masters with the Masters program, a ride through Oregon and many trips to the dog park- it was a wonderful summer! ![]() I was happy and proud to be co-hostess of Marywood University's "Get Your Masters with the Masters" spring study tour. The tour was informative and very fun. My highlights post-tour were great art at great museums and a scenic tour of the monuments, Mall and White House. ![]() ![]() My friend, Christina Hess, nominated me to take part in the FaceBook 5-day art challenge. I had to post three pieces of art for five days in a row. Day 1: I started with design work including a fun logo and volunteer work I've done for my town's arts board (I am president!). Day 2: Photo collage pieces for the Boston Globe, Family Circle magazine and a greeting card. Day 3: Art that was used on manufactured products. Day 4: "Throw Back Thursday"! Images from books 1, 2 & 3. Something To Crow About, Rosa & Marco and the Three Wishes and The Darling Boys. These book were published over 20 years ago! Day 5: A piece I did in high school. It hangs in my studio as a reminder of the kid who wanted to be an artist when she grew up. ![]() ![]() |
