I visited my family for the holidays & had two great visits with creative people.

New York City- The Market was packed with fans of Where Women Cook magazine!
I was thrilled to be a part of such a special event. I signed my page in the magazine while many famous female chefs signed their pages.

It's here! The premier issue of WHERE WOMEN COOK Magazine.

Created by Jo Packham (Where Women Create and an extraordinary all-around woman), WHERE WOMEN COOK is a beautiful and delicious new magazine featuring today's top women chef's, bakers and food bloggers.
I am extremely privileged to have my art adorn a column all through the magazine's inaugural year!

A magazine signing and launch party will be held at Chelsea Market, Ninth Avenue, NYC, on December 10th from 2-5.
I will be signing copies of the magazine along with all the famous foodies!!

I'm the "FAMILIAR FACE" in The News of Delaware County local newspaper.

I was flattered and proud to be chosen as a "Familiar Face"! The photo was taken at "Community Day" at the Lansdowne Farmer's Market. I was representing our Arts Board and supporting our farmers by wearing my "Farmers Kick A**" T-shirt I purchased at one of the Farm Aid concerts I attended. Read the nice article by clicking here.

The Women of the Lansdowne Arts Festival Committee

Jennifer Hoff, MaryKay Bowden, Terry Baraldi and I take a break from a LAF meeting. We have been hard at work planning for the 2010 Fest! September 10th, 11th & 12th at the historic Twentieth Century Club. I am not participating as an artist this year. I will be a full-time volunteer and will have a book signing.

Honorable Mention Awarded to "Like A Moth To A Flame, Old Age Arrives"

Two pieces were accepted into the prestigious "Phillustration" Show at The Philadelphia Sketch Club. An honorable mention was awarded to "Like A Moth To A Flame, Old Age Arrives" in the self-promotion category at the 3rd annual juried exhibition.

Society Of Illustrators, New York City, April 1st

128 East 63rd Street, NYC- Milton Glaser gave a talk and signed books at the Society. One of my art & graphic design idols, Milton was presented with a National Medal of Arts from President Obama just thirty-five days ago!
